Sponsoring the New York Times

I’ve always supported good journalism, with high standards for reporting and also for accountability. And when I say I “support good journalism,” it’s with my dollars. I pay subscriptions to four newspapers: The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Financial Times and The Boston Globe. Those papers are on different points of a political spectrum, in terms of their op-ed pages and their coverage, and I support them all.

Today, I made a contribution to sponsor a New York Times subscription for a student. My own habits as a newspaper reader were formed when I was young. I’d like to pass that along to the next generation.
