Buy Nothing training

I raised my hand to be a Buy Nothing Somerville moderator two days. Today, I read their organizational background and training material. I’m told the group is well over 1,000 people so that’s quite the group, although the most active members account for the vast majority of the posts. Looking forward to getting started.

Today, I took the afternoon off from work and watched the Joe Biden’s inauguration as the 46th president of the United States. It was the capstone that completed my journey to commit one civic act per day for four years. It’s something that I’ll never forget, just like Amanda Gorman at the ceremony today.
