World Refugee Day

June 20 is World Refugee Day. More than 65 million people have been forced to leave their homes and start over. But those circumstances shouldn’t define who they are as individuals. Each has a story to tell.

Today, I donated my Facebook profile through the Western Union Foundation, to give the opportunity for a refugee to tell his story. Refugees aren’t statistics; they’re people. Jackdar’s story, how we ended up in Mexico, is now on Facebook. You can do the same here: https://www.westernunion.com/iammore/. The Western Union Foundation will make a donation for every Facebook profile that is given over.
