Southern Poverty Law Center

It’s Martin Luther King Day. Dr. King is a truly inspirational hero, to my mind, as one of the most visible leader of the civil rights movement. His legacy is unassailable. Today, I donated to the Southern Poverty Law Center, which is dedicated to fighting hate and bigotry and to seeking justice for the most vulnerable members of our society. It’s an organization that I think Dr. King would be proud of.

[Note: Due to a vacation, I fell a little behind on my blogging. But my daily civic act pledge remained intact while on vacation. You just may be reading this a little bit late.]
