Somerville Community Corporation house party

Today, I went to a house party for donors to the Somerville Community Corporation (SCC). SCC is a community development corporation, focusing on affordable housing, displacement and jobs training. There are so many complementarities with climate policy that they invited me to come speak for climate issues and the city’s action plan.

Today, I took the afternoon off from work and watched the Joe Biden’s inauguration as the 46th president of the United States. It was the capstone that completed my journey to commit one civic act per day for four years. It’s something that I’ll never forget, just like Amanda Gorman at the ceremony today.
