Holbrook Island Sanctuary State Park

I’m on vacation this week in Down East Maine. I had a great hike yesterday and another today in a nearby nature preserve, the Holbrook Island Sanctuary State Park; it’s a remarkable place. Today, I made a donation to the Friends of the Holbrook Island Sanctuary State Park through a donation box near one of the trail heads.

Today, I took the afternoon off from work and watched the Joe Biden’s inauguration as the 46th president of the United States. It was the capstone that completed my journey to commit one civic act per day for four years. It’s something that I’ll never forget, just like Amanda Gorman at the ceremony today.
